You can now search for jobs by “Residence status”!
Jobs you can do with your residence status are shown at the top.

There will be fewer cases of “I applied, but my residence status did not match…” 💪

🔍 What’s new

1. “Residence status” has been added to job search

In the search, choose your residence status from “Residence status”.
Jobs you can apply for with that residence status will be shown.

• If you are logged in, “Your residence status” appears at the top of the list
• Choose the same name as written on your residence card (names are shown as “Japanese (your language)”)

2. Matching jobs come first, even if you do not choose a residence status

Just open the job list.
Jobs that match your residence status are shown at the top.

• If you are logged in: the residence status in your profile
• If you are not logged in: the residence status you answered in the first questions (work style and residence status)

3. See “Accepted residence statuses” on job pages

In “About Residence Status” on a job page, you can see the residence statuses the company accepts.
Your residence status is shown at the top in bold.

The residence status in your profile is important for showing the right jobs.
If your residence status has changed, please update your profile.

⚠️ Please note

• Some jobs have not set their accepted residence statuses yet
• These jobs show “Not yet specified for this job”
• Whether you can apply is finally checked in the selection process
