The notification card or My Number card is required.

【Documents You May Need to Prepare Depending on the Company】

・Withholding Tax Statement (gensenchoshuhyo)
Not needed for your first job but required when changing jobs.
This document shows your salary and taxes paid, given by your previous employer.

・Employment Insurance Number
Not needed for your first job but required when changing jobs.
Needed if you work more than 20 hours per week.
This 11-digit number is written on your Employment Insurance Certificate or Separation Notice.

・Pension Booklet
May be required if you work more than 30 hours per week.
If you do not have one, contact your local government office.

・Health Check Certificate
You need to have a health check and submit the certificate to your company.

・Certificate of Residence (Juminhyo)
Can be obtained at your local government office or convenience stores.
